Session
|
| Instructors: Dan Brass, Ginny Kidwell and Travis Grosser |
Location: BE-309 |
This 1 day workshop presents some of the fundamentals of social network theory and analysis. We will introduce some of the classic studies, measures, and theories related to this field as well as briefly introduce the UCINET Software. This session should allow beginners (as well as provide a refresher for people with limited exposure) to Social Network Analysis to become more familiar with key topics, and be prepared for the Tuesday-Thursday 3 day workshop Intro to SNA. So if you may have seen some network articles, or heard about social capital and want to learn what this is all about or feel you may not be up to speed with the other attendees and wants to go over the basics, this 1 day workshop is for you!
